- Rated 5 out of 5by Neil Gager, 3 years agoFor what it's worth, if you've got the "Windscribe - Free Proxy and Ad Blocker" add-on, you need to disable it. Even when it's been turned off (but not disabled) it stops this add-on from working, for me, it did anyway.👍

- Rated 5 out of 5by Carlos, 4 years agoIt seems to work fine and it's easy to configure.
You only need to install first this extension and then follow the instructions given by the developer:
1.-Download “Tor Bundle” and extract it in a local directory (https://github.com/andy-portmen/tor-bundle/releases).
2.-Open options page and paste the “root” of the extracted folder in the text box.
3.-Install the native client either from the extension or manually from https://github.com/andy-portmen/native-client/releases
4.-Open the toolbar panel and check Tor integration. - Rated 5 out of 5by V&S, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by MaxthonFan, 6 years agoWorks just as intended. Yes, the installation is not 'just click continue' with a nice GUI installer, but I guess the addon's target group isn't the typical BDU either.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Darren Chaker, 6 years agoBy Darren Chaker - TOR was created by the US Gov't for the purpose of keeping things private for the military. Decades later, the Internet continues to evolve as does our surveillance society. TOR Control adds an extra layer to TOR to keep information from your computer that may leak from leaking! If you are serious about privacy and use TOR, then take the extra step and use TOR Control as I have and have not had any issues using it.

THANX! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13354354, 7 years agoGreat idea.
I try it and it's working good.
Easy to install and configure with step to step instructions and easy to use.
Very interesting and well done.
After turning on try this: https://browserleaks.com/
For sure for those who really wants safety and anonymity may have to tweaks in "about:config" or use the TOR Browser. For ultimate security there is The Amnesic Incognito Live System https://tails.boum.org/ - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 11571316, 8 years agoГлавное чтобы автор не встроил в свои исходники back-door и не забросил работу.
Немного невнятная инструкция.
Инструкция:
0. Устанавливаем расширение Tor control для Firefox.
1. Скачиваем Tor bundle по ссылке https://github.com/andy-portmen/tor-bundle/releases указанной в настройках расширения.
2. Распаковываем содержимое и указываем путь к нему в "Tor Bundle path:".
3. Скачиваем Tor native client по ссылке https://github.com/andy-portmen/native-client/releases и устанавливаем запустив от имени администратора файл install.bat.
4. Нажимаем на значок расширения "OFF" и переключаем на "ON".
Чего нехватает:
1. Возможности изменить Node.
2. Парсинг списка Nodes с сайта.
3. Группировка Nodes по странам.
4. Смена стран Nodes по расписанию.
5. Возможность добавления адреса Node вручную.
6. Возможность исключить страну Node из списка стран по расписанию.
