    I really like this but is it possible to have as startup page in addition to new tab?

    Hover your cursor over the new tab button (at the top, next to the tab closing button). You will see the extension's unique ID, which will look something like this: 0f31e1c1-d63c-4660-b950-8bfbda3bb20a. Copy or note down this ID.

    Open Firefox Settings and navigate to the Home section, or type about:preferences#home in the address bar.

    Under the Homepage and new windows section, select Custom URLs...

    Paste the following URL:
    moz-extension://0f31e1c1-d63c-4660-b950-8bfbda3bb20a/index.html

    (replace id with your actuall id)

    This will set the extension as both your homepage and new tab page.

    The weather is really janky for some reason, barely ever shows anything 🫤
    I put in my own weatherAPI key so I don't know why it won't play nice

    Great extension though, it looks sooo pretty!

    Sorry for the previous experience and my earlier response. This is the first extension I've ever created, and I'm a new developer still gaining experience. I had used incorrect code in the manifest file (which is essential for browser extensions). I've now updated the code, and the extension no longer requires any permissions.

    I feel in love with Google's Material 3 UI, With emphasis in color and shapes it gives a very friendly attitude. So seeing some one design a start page based on that design delights me.

    My only hope that maybe one day in the future perhaps it expanded to the point that we could make custom shortcuts or dark mode version of the accent colors.
