- Rated 4 out of 5by Altai H., 5 years agoLove it, works great and is totally unobtrusive! Wish it had music from more than just New Leaf though, and I thought it had an option for playing the rain/snow variants of songs but I can't seem to find that setting anymore.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14644581, 6 years agoThe option for "pause on startup" is not working.
But nonetheless, I'm loving this add on. I wish you could add music from different Animal Crossings like City Folk. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14788026, 6 years agoWorks great, just hoping for the City Folk soundtrack to be added :)

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14295557, 7 years agoIt works just as its cousin on Chrome, however I had to deduct a star because it only plays the default New Leaf song. The Chrome version I had been introduced to had more options ranging from New Leaf (Rain), (Snow), as well as having KK Slider sing on Saturdays. And you were able to customize the O'Clock bell chime to your liking.
I'm sad that its not the same for this version. I hope in the future they find a way to bring those features into FireFox. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13748428, 7 years agoI'm really liking having the option to play some sweet Animal Crossing tunes when I want to, so thanks! Only problem I am having is that the options don't seem to be saving for me. I keep turning off notifications and they keep coming back.
- Rated 4 out of 5by thechocolateone, 7 years agoTried this on FF Quantum. The music would play fine when I load up the browser but after 10 seconds, it would stop and the icon in the toolbar would be completely greyed out. Clicking on it doesn't do anything, and neither does disabling, refreshing, or reinstalling. Overall, if this actually worked, it would be a 4/5 from me. It doesn't have as many options as other similar AC music add-ons I've used on Chrome (i.e. can switch between different game soundtracks, KK songs, etc).
Update: The add-on is now working the day after though I haven't changed any settings whatsoever. Probably just a strange glitch!Developer response
posted 7 years agoHey thechocolate one,
I've tested Animal Forest BGM on Firefox (Beta) 57 and am unable to reproduce this issue! My first thought is that this might have to do with the automatic media playback detection feature. Try disabling that feature and see if the issue persists. If it disappears, check to see if any of your tabs or other WebExtensions emit or are capable of emitting audio-- that might be the cause!
I'll attempt to reproduce your issue on Firefox (Stable) 57 and let you know if I am able to reproduce this issue. If you're running a version of Firefox other than 57, please let me know so that I can test it with the appropriate version!
Thank you for the feedback!
EDIT: I've made attempts to reproduce this bug on the stable version of Firefox 57, but with no success. Please try disabling the media playback detection feature-- if that works, please let me know!
EDIT 2: I'm glad to hear that the add-on is now working correctly. Thank you so much for updating your review!
