Zana talks with an API service (https://api.zanareads.com) to retrieve additional book information and ratings. Except the Book ISBN, author, and title which are used to retrieve external data about the book, no additional data is taken from the users website and sent to the API service.

Zana does not take any personal user information from the website the user visits.
