YouTube AdBlocker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It operates entirely on your device and interacts only with the YouTube video pages you visit. Specifically:

No browsing history, video preferences, or user activity is tracked.
No data is sent to external servers, including by the developer.
The extension does not require or access any user account information.


Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

activeTab: To interact with the current YouTube tab.
webNavigation: To detect when YouTube video pages load.
*://*.youtube.com/*: To run scripts only on YouTube video pages.


These permissions are used solely to detect and skip or speed up ads by modifying the page’s video player. No data from these interactions is stored or shared.

Third-Party Services

YouTube AdBlocker does not rely on or connect to any third-party services. All functionality happens locally within your browser.

Changes to This Policy

If this extension is updated to include new features that affect privacy, this policy will be revised, and the updated version will be included with the extension or linked on the Mozilla Add-ons site.
