The extension does not require or access any user account information.
Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:activeTab: To interact with the current YouTube tab.
webNavigation: To detect when YouTube video pages load.
*://*.youtube.com/*: To run scripts only on YouTube video pages.
These permissions are used solely to detect and skip or speed up ads by modifying the page’s video player. No data from these interactions is stored or shared.
Third-Party Services
YouTube AdBlocker does not rely on or connect to any third-party services. All functionality happens locally within your browser.
