- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13571539, 4 years agoI'm pretty satisfied with this extension; so far trouble-free and substantially better than the kind of spotty alternatives.
Kind of bothered, though, how it handles "streaming downloads" of video files differently from "regular downloads". It'd be nice if both methods consistently used FF's download display button list, so you can see all the files you've downloaded at once, in the same place. - Rated 4 out of 5by Bruce, 4 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Campanile, 4 years agoAs others have stated, the user experience is what you always get when a techie tries to also set up the UI. It's not the worst, but it is horribly obscure.
It uses a number of terms that seem to exist only in the coder's head. It takes a while to figure out where the videos get saved to, and how that awful thing with the three colored balls works, but after a while you get it.
Once you do, it works well. - Rated 4 out of 5by Blacky, 4 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15043717, 4 years agoCan't always detect videos for downloading, but it's the number one way I download a video if it's an option. I can't think of any real problems I've had with it, except some video sites stream content and you have to keep it playing while it's downloading or the site stops sending the data, I guess. Sometimes the video will be a bit choppy, but that's so incredibly rare I'd wager it's a site issue, not the addon. Give it a try, I doubt you'll regret it.
EDIT: Taking off one star for constantly opening up new pages when it updates. I DO NOT CARE THAT THIS ADD-ON HAS BEEN UPDATED. DO IT WITHOUT TELLING ME. Could literally never update again and it wouldn't make a single iota of a difference to me.
Also, be aware of the review mentioning QR codes is specifically referring to a form of video download called "ADP" and they likely tried to download something off YouTube. YouTube is NOT supported as a download, likely out of cowardice from the developers that they'll have Google on their rear-ends over it. You can download those with any basic YouTube to MP4/MP3 site, instead. - Rated 4 out of 5by montendola, 4 years ago
