- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18610677, 7 months agoAsk you to install an external app, then ask you to pay 20€ to remove QR code that takes a quarter of the space of the video to work properly.
It's a scam. - Rated 1 out of 5by Mart, 7 months agoUninstalling. You've ruined a very useful tool and turned it into some Frankenstein Monster that leaves a Q-code covering the bottom left hand corner rendering the video download useless.
Avoid this former, fantastic, add-on as of this 'latest' update. Why they ruined this down-loader leaves me utterly perplexed, flummoxed and slightly miffed. I think the developer has sold it to someone else to make money. I could be wrong and often am.
Now I'll just un-install it it and relegate it to my 'Oblivion List'. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18247547, 7 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17026324, 7 months agoHaving a giant QR Code watermarked on any downloaded video defeats the purpose of the entire extension in my opinion. Why not just make the entire extension a paid one instead of wasting everyone's time?
- Rated 1 out of 5by RoadWolfY, 7 months agoAh yes, a massive QR code wtermark to cover 1/6 of the video and need to install a "companion" app that hogs a bit of PC recourses - which likely means that the entire converion process is local rather than relying on 3rd party servers. If it even downloads - took it multiple tries to do so. The only positive thing about it is not leaving any leftovers after uninstalling...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Maleficient, 7 months agoRecommended, yeah, it's a scam, it's not an extension, it's a lie ; for this to work, you have to install an external software, so a software in Windows and not in Firefox ; in fact it's wrong to present this as an extension.
Otherwise, the software installed on Windows is working.

- Rated 1 out of 5by libra, 7 months ago8.0.06-8.2.2.8 is better, but it can only save video to C:\ now..i can save to others before
版本8006-8228是比較好的,但是現在只能把檔案存在C:,之前可以存在其他硬碟。 - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18512221, 7 months agoBcp moins bon depuis que ça pose des filigranes automatiquement

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16053094, 7 months ago9-20-24 updated firefox to 130.0.1 and have Video DownloadHelper 9.1.0.44 and now the extension will NOT start the download on ANY sites i usually visit and download from. WHAT HAPPENED??? LOVED this extension now it does NOT work, very sad and frustrated. If it was fixed would give it 5 STARS!

- Rated 1 out of 5by omega21xx, 7 months agoHave been using this for years, now all rips get a watermark. Yeah, I'll pass. You have a paid version. Couldn't make enough in paid, so now you ruin rips with a HUGE QR code watermark. Guess you're only good for audio rips now. You'll find a way to ruin those too I'm guessing.
