- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13499522, 7 years agoVersion 6 was great. No problems. It just did what it was advertised to do. Version 7? A piece of shit. Click on the icon and the video screen grabs are gone! You have no idea of what video is which. I guess I will be looking for another down loader. Again a piece of shit. This review will never see the light of day but I call 'em as I see them. Somebody will read it.

fonctionnait parfaitement, wHY ? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13498531, 7 years agoThis new "improvement" doesn't work at all. Tried downloading the helper program, doesn't work either. Everything downloads with 0 bytes. I noticed that there is some kind of plan where another more workable version is coming. Why give us this when you know it's defective and already needing a fix? Anybody know another downloader that works?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13497965, 7 years agoIt is not working after recent firefox update. I don't want to install any "helper"
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13496299, 7 years agoje n'arrive pas a l'utiliser. Aucune notice, j'ai téléchargé le compagnon mais impossible de télécharger une video.
L'icône ne bouge pas, impossible de suivre éventuellement le chargement. comment dois-je procéder.?
Merci de m'aider.- - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13495400, 7 years agoI used to use this extension sometimes and it seemed pretty good. After the "quantum" change in Firefox it did not work. It popped up a message about a "helper app" and i remember it did have something like that which was also required - I think maybe just telling it what converter - like ffmpeg - to use.
Now it points you outside Firefox and Mozilla to a 3rd - 4th? - party site to download an 'installer.' Then you are supposed to install it in your machine.
If you try that through the UBUNTU Software installer you get a lot of warnings about some really bad stuff. This reminds me of what Sony did with the rootkit they foist on unsuspecting users as "a little helper program."
I don't know what that app might or might not do, but it seems risky. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13494362, 8 years agoUsed to be great but after update it's useless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13493844, 8 years agoSeit dem Update tut nix mehr richtig - auch in der gekauften Version.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13493566, 8 years agoBeen using this downloader for awhile. Still downloads fine. BUT,..... NOW YOU CANNOT SET A SPECIFIC FOLDER TO SAVE YOUR FILES ON.
Cannot detect stream files on openload or streamload - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13493235, 8 years agoDiese Version ist richtig schlecht . Die alte Version war um vieles besser !! Entäuschend !!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Dyre Logan, 8 years agoDoesn't work at all. Oh it downloads fine, but it gives you several files, chopped up, that are not playable. The developer also, suspiciously, tells you after you begin a download that you need ANOTHER program on your computer which of course you download and then it tells you that there will be a watermark unless you BUY the program. Absolutely worthless plugin and completely lies to you about everything. Uninstalled.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13492125, 8 years agoVous avez mis en ligne une application non terminée et non stabilisée.

You have posted an unfinished and unstable application. In any case with Firefox 57 (which is not a success either ...). For example: not possible to indicate the directory where to download, download inoperative without explanation (just 40 bytes!) But working with a conversion to output, etc. I do not speak of crashes (freeze) because I do not know if the fault is in Firefox or the AddOn. The least of it would have been to keep the previous version in backup for download in case of problems! For years that I use it is the first time I see a circus like this! - Rated 1 out of 5by DIENER, 8 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13491015, 8 years agoWith this recent Firefox update, Video DownloadHelper is no longer working and I use it almost everyday. Therefore, I would suggest reverting back to the previous Firefox version and don't let it auto update for 6 months, maybe just MAYBE it will resolved by then.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13490819, 8 years agoAfter having used the extension for many years and it working flawlessly, I find myself in the position of having an updated firefox that does not work at all. It does nothing and having tried to perform a complete clean install a number of times, I am now getting a message that my license is locked. Having wasted a hug amount of time I am just going to abandon this as it's utterly rubbish.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13490603, 8 years agoWIth the latest version of Firefox 57.0 this app I've used for 5 years is NOW BROKEN! Now they want you to download an "accessory app" and it does NOTHING!! I've deleted Video Downloader and switched to another downloader and it doesn't need an "accessory app" ~!!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13489751, 8 years agoUsed to be a perfect add-on, but now (on Mac) every single downloaded file is broken and no media player can play it. Coapp installed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13489116, 8 years agoLa version de Firefox Quantum rend inutilisable VDH sur certains sites. Il est nécessaire de proposer une alternative rapidement ou de mettre à jour le module.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13441966, 8 years agoFor some reasons placing watermarks on every video. Even LQ 360p ones. Ridiculous.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13488306, 8 years agoSchade, ich habe dieses einfache und zuverlässige Add On lange genutzt.
