Let me download three Youtube movies and then it wouldn't download any more. Don't know why. but I can't get it to work at all now. Using fully updated Firefox on Mint 18.3 KDE

The free version of this add-on puts a watermark on all of your videos. Also the conversion process that adds the watermark takes forever. (Many times the length of the video, and far longer than other programs take to do the same thing.) You must pay almost $30 for a license to get videos without watermarks.
This would not be so bad if the developer would put a notice in the description about this. Instead there is no warning at all.

I'm not liking this. Not only does it not download the video you request, it then requires you to download a 36-megabyte "buddy" EXE file. The whole purpose of Firefox plugins is to avoid installing EXEs. Did you have Mozilla Firefox check your external EXE for viruses ? Then how do we know it's safe ?

Also I wouldn't trust =ANY= anonymous reviews. Anyone can do those, including the author or company employees presenting the plugin.

Please write a Firefox plugin that does not require additional EXE installations.

Changed my rating from 5 stars to 1 star because the developer has turned evil recently. I understand that you need money for living, but can't you make the watermark less intrusive? Can't you simply put semi transparent logo of yours? Can't you simply limit the resolution and framerate for free users? Currently, every downloaded videos have huge QR code covering one third of the display. Not cool! Not cool at all! It's totally useless like this! Uninstalled!!

Hides too much functionality behind a paywall (putting a huge QR code on every download? Really?), and the functionality outside of the paywall doesn't actually function very well. Choosing a download directory is way harder than it should be.

This crap is telling me to download another program from it's site to be able to use this addon in firefox like wtf is this bullshit crap making me download some fishy as .exe file from some shady site.

The reason i'm installing an addon is so I don't need to install a windows program to download you damn morons like that is some shady ass bullshit probably filled with malware
