- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14337225, 7 years agoRidiculous Adware recently added, where they put a huge QR code in top left making you purchase a license to remove it.. No longer Free. Use another Video DL unless oyuw ant a huge QR code in all your video downloads... Plus it takes forever for them to encode this into the DLed videos.. Very Disappointing. This USE TO BE GREAT APP.. Not worth $20 licensing FEE.. Use another Video Downloader..

- Rated 1 out of 5by twathle, 7 years agoI assumed that I was trying out a donations-only (ie. a freeware) video downloader. Not true! After installing the add-on, I "discovered" that I also had to install an auxilliary "converter app" directly onto my computer. So I did. Then I went through the app's many, many options. I finally downloaded an actual video. Success! But when I played my video, I saw that a watermark had been stamped on top of every frame. Digging deeper, I learned that the watermark-free version of the app costs $28. If the developer is selling a $28 app, then he should say so UP FRONT. Instead, he suckered me into wasting 2 hours of my life chasing after something I wasn't in the market for. FireFox should ban this developer and his app.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14324661, 7 years agoHigh memory usage 99.5% slows down computer.
Requires reboot to get back to normal.
Upside it works very well as a video down loader.
Reinstalled Mint 19 and Firefox (removed all add-ons) same problems.
Only add-on that will produce this effect.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 10964942, 7 years agoUsed to like it, but that QR code is just bad now, there are many free alternatives, you were a good one before.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14012026, 7 years agoconstant spam for donations, constant spam to write a review and wants 3rd party installer to download basic files.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Qetesh, 7 years agoSuddenly you have to pay for getting a video without watermarks but you're only told *after* downloading a large video file which is now useless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by MS_TO, 7 years agoYou must download an external app, to convert video. With latest version of this software, all of a sudden the developers are placing a watermark on the video unless you register the app for $28.50 USD. That is an exorbitant price. There are better, free and/or less costly alternatives. Google "alternatives to Video Downloadhelper".
- Rated 1 out of 5by JoCool2A, 7 years agoModule très limité qui vous rajoute un énorme QR code en haut à gauche de l'image.
Et en plus il est très long.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13743511, 7 years agoJust another useless extension which don't give you options what to download. For example I want download just video, I don't care about sound, but I can't! This extension won't let me do this! Install our converter! But I don't WANT your converter! I want raw video file without sound!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14295743, 7 years agoThe extension has worked flawlessly for years until a couple of weeks ago. Web help says that there is a problem wtih VDH and later versions of Firefox. I followed instructions on line. No help.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12679087, 7 years agoNow has a watermark on all downloaded videos. Unless you pay.
