This used to be, and worked excellent a few years ago, but now it's no good. It almost never downloads any videos, and when it does it says I have to purchase a converter to be able to watch it on Windows 10
The converter is $59.95 for one year of use, with a limit of 10 videos a month. It's not worth it to me, when there are other video downloaders that are totally free, and work almost everywhere and do not need to be converted.

Wants to install a "companion" app to download. If I wanted to install a seperate app I can get any download manager without exposing my browsing habits.

You have to pay to get a d/load without watermark! Didn't say that at the start did you? !!!! So it's not FREE!

The addon isn't completely functional or free. I tried to download a YouTube Video as a MP3 file but it told me that it had to be registered first because I asked for an audio only file, its completely ridiculous! I've seen better, less restrictive addons then this piece of crap!

I have been using this excellent addon for years, and it was perfectly doing the job. This is no more the case now, since the addon only allows you to download "low quality" videos, unless you agree to install an external app, in which I cannot trust.
