- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15662951, 5 years agoSpent 40 minutes waiting for a video to download. At the end it tells me that it embedded a gigantic watermark because I didn't buy a $30 "conversion license". That would have been useful to know at the start so I didn't waste my time with this garbage. I installed a standalone program instead (youtube-dl), and got the video downloaded in 10 seconds for free, without the watermark.

- Rated 1 out of 5by ZeroZero, 5 years agoToo many permissions... some of them not necessary. Your privacy could be broken. Long time ago works fine.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12222775, 5 years agoCrapware always says media manifest cant be found, downloads fail from every site on the net.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15641906, 5 years agoI've used this addon for almost ten years; the recent changes pushing watermarks into videos - the need for an external 'converter' (even when you don't want to convert) along with the changes in the download window are all forcing me to drop this from 5 stars to ONE. I can not recommend this for use... its a real shame; this developer has talent and used to offer a great product.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12796730, 5 years agoI used this before, and it worked fine, but I haven't downloaded anything in quite a while. I decided to try to download a song to try my hand at making a BeatSaber map, and now every time I try to download anything it just wants me to download a companion app. I got an add-on so I could just download from my browser! If I wanted to use some crappy app, there are plenty of others I could use. Completely worthless.
- Rated 1 out of 5by André, 5 years agoYou will be forced to pay $30 or you will have giant watermark on your videos. DO NOT LOSE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ADD-ON.
- Rated 1 out of 5by mrm, 5 years agocurrent edit: now the app changed. a qr-code is inserted, which would be ok considering I use the free version. But one mayor problem comes with this: after each download it takes huge amounts of time and processing power to insert this qr code into the video which makes the addon practically unusable. Proposal: Wouldn't it be much faster, less processing intensive and overall better to insert a short "downloader by downloaderhelper"-clip at the beginning/end of the video?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15628639, 5 years agoExtremely slow and fails to download everytime. WTH
- Rated 1 out of 5by abveost, 5 years agoWas great until it started watermarking everything. Into the trash it goes.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14554338, 5 years agoyou added a watermark to videos of things we download you don't own? wow.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Lyndon, 5 years agoThis WAS great. Now expensive and adds "watermark" covering half the video unless you pay far too much. I'll be looking for something else.
Please go back to the way you used to be. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15264038, 5 years agoEstá péssimo, pois não consigo fazer os meus download porque fica a passar uma mensagem para instaurar um aplicativo auxiliar, por favor verifiquem isso.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14734257, 5 years agoUsed to be helpful and free. Don't believe the star ratings without text, they are probably fake and intended to offset all the recent negatives. As mentioned repeatedly, it now requires a companion app and your hard-earned cash. Not gonna happen here, already removed from FF.
