- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13788339, 7 years agoA wonderful streaming video downloader. An infrequent bug when u have queued up too many files (it just stops downloading everything) but overall a good addon. Excellent for FF but awful for Chrome.

- Rated 4 out of 5by xdragonflywingsx, 7 years agoIt's good. It was great, but ever since the new companion app was brought in, i've found it to be a little bit annoying to use. Please get rid of the companion app! Loved how easy it was to use beforehand.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Ahzek, 7 years agoDownloads streaming vids from many sites, but it requires additional instalation (outside Firefox). It downloads fine, but while it downloads, it eats memory like candy. At one point I had Firefox taking over 3 GB of RAM.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13791570, 7 years agoI LUV this app. Mig's been through the ringer to keep up with browser updates, and has really worked hard for we sometimes extremely ungrateful vid-lovers out there! Recent changes once again have me figuring out the new rules, and we've lost some options once the project needed funding... which I agree, I've watched the throes- and I hope to show my appreciation when I'm in a better financial position. Thanks for all of your hard work, Mig. Only dropping a star for the lost options; when I'm in a better position to see how it's all progressed- I expect It'll be 5* all the way!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Bill, 7 years agoI have other down-loaders I use that are easier to change target folders but those sometimes miss urls that are picked by Video DownloadHelper. If it had a more user friendly control menu it may be my go-to application

- Rated 4 out of 5by DBurd79, 7 years agoI've been a fan of VDH for several years now. It is quite dependable if you're needing a simple video capture tool for all your YouTube viewings, as well as a plethora of other sites.
Once you're wanting to get into the more intermediate needs of HQ vid capturing (4k, and sometimes even vids offering 1080s+60fps) , and converting mp4/flv into audio files, it can get a bit complex for some, with the need to install a separate app to combine efforts with this tool. Not to mention, "you can purchase a DownloadHelper/ConvertHelper license, so converted videos won't hold the DownloadHelper QR code."
Overall, I highly recommend this app if you want a capture tool that has easy to navigate options, and offers premium services if you have the means to pay for it. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14217315, 7 years agoTrès fiable et facile à utiliser.
