- Rated 1 out of 5by Alan, 5 years agoAfter installing this addon i was hopeful, but when I tried downloading a video I said I needed to install an additional application from their website. This seemed a little iffy from a security perspective. The addon itself may have passed Mozilla's basic security stuff, but what about the extra file. The whole thing seemed very odd so i uninstalled.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13026147, 5 years agoAdds a massive QR code that obscures the video being played. This is crappy adware.
- Rated 1 out of 5by pedrynh, 5 years agoDO NOT DOWLOAD IT.
What surprises me the most is the fact that it is a "recommended" extension my Mozilla.
First of all, it is quite hard for new users, not into all technology, to TRY to set it up.
All the configurations are not clear at all.
Then, when I tried to dowload a video, with some good internet, IT TOOK SO LONG, which was not the worst... T H E R E A R E a H U G E QR Code basically 1/3 of the video... like what the fuck?
And guess what, the 4k quality I thought was dowloading, didn't. Looked like shit (looked like 3gp).
More than that, which make me REALLY MAD. It's a GODDAMN I L L E G A L A P P (LoOk At Me I'M ReTArdEd We ArE NoT ResPonSIbLE FOr WhAt UseRS Do WiTH ThE ApP.
...AND THEY'RE ARE CHARGING FOR IT.
WHAT THE FUCK.
P L E A S E. - Rated 1 out of 5by patra7, 5 years agoDoes not work for YouTube. Not the most friendly user interface.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14480703, 5 years agoDownloads Reddit videos, but without sound. Doesn't download Youtube videos without demanding that you download the companion app. What's the point? Don't waste your time with this.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Anonymous, 5 years agoI downloaded a video. Took more than an hour. And then, the video was watermarked in such an obnoxious way that it was unwatchable. A complete scam! Oh, and one more thing – in order to download the video, you have to install their "helper" program.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Marcos Loureiro, 5 years agoIt simply doesn't work, nor with the browser, nor with the "companion app".
The videos are found, but they get stuck in queue, never actually start downloading.
I see that tons of people had a great experience with this tool, so my assumption is that this only works decently with the most common websites (like youtube) - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 6200460, 5 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16119960, 5 years agoNowhere on the page can I find any way to actually download the file. Its all hype about how great it is but no way to actually download it. This is stupid.
- Rated 1 out of 5by David Joy, 5 years agoThis extension has been incompatible with Firefox and, apparently, Firefox-based browsers--Tor, for sure--for several updates now. Does it download? We will never know, because the VDH menu is unusable. It's all squashed up against the edge of the screen, overlapping itself and unscrollable. Yet Mozilla says it's "recommended"? How is that possible?
