As every single app of this type (multimedia downloaders) it may or may not work depending on the site, but overly I would say it is very good and kept up to date.

It just works

Whilst it's not my primary video downloader, Video DownloadHelper is an excellent extension which rarely fails me. It's handy to have it on the browser so that I don't have to open another app to get the job done. However, it can't download locked videos from certain sites but that's never been a problem for me.
