- Rated 3 out of 5by eUROs, a month agoGreat extension for the Browsers Only! For Firefox and Chrome.
It is free, limited usage. But other than that, it does it's job well. 👍 It has opened a webpage that it is closed for some countries for the time being, and I wanted to test it if it could open that webpage. And it did! 👍😃
----------------------
But have this in mind people, the Windows desktop software, is not Free at all. I have downloaded it thinking it was free, but It couldn't work to even test it. From the same moment I have downloaded it to my PC I was only getting a pop-up message to pay for a subscription in order to be able to use it. What frustrated me was the fact that in their website they say that the PC windows app has a free trial to try it. I didn't see any trial. The program didn't work from the first moment I downloaded it on my pc.
--------------------
To the Developers: In your website you should clarify this guys. That the PC app is Not free, not even for trial to try it. So people will not download your software in their PCs and as soon as they will start it, to be surprised that it is not free to try it.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by tron34, a month agoWill be switching back to Proton due to the add-on breaking Google search and the Cox Communications' Voice Tools website.
Spent so much time trying to figure out why these things were happening and only found out today that having this add-on enabled(by pure guesswork)was the culprit, which is strange because I don't remember it causing problems when I first installed it.Developer response

Customer Support Team - Rated 1 out of 5by AB, a month agoThis extension broke so many websites and caused infinite loading issues. I didn't know it was this extension until clicked Inspect > Console, and found an error that started with "moz-extension". Scrolled a bit and saw "VeePN ad guard" or something

Kind regards, Denise, VeePN Support. - Rated 1 out of 5by M. Holler, a month agoUseless. Works in Microsoft Edge but does nothing in Firefox despite saying the contrary. Furthermore, it screwed up multiple websites for me, including MEGA (page would fail) and Google Images (couldn't expand thumbnails). Uninstalling fixed these problems instantly. Avoid at all costs.

Best regards, Denise, VeePN Support.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14805317, a month agoI don't even know how long I've been using this VPN, but I know it has always been the greatest.
After the latest update, it doesn't work as well as it used to. It can't even load a YouTube video in 720p quality and disconnects while still showing as connected. Also, Google keeps annoyingly asking me to prove I'm not a bot, whereas I never had to prove it even once before the update.
I'm grateful for this free service, and I'd be even more grateful if the developer could fix itDeveloper response
