- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14566386, 6 years agoThis app worked well for me for a long time. Then recently it just stopped working. I saw that it was no longer on the App guide for my Firefox, and there was now another one. So I removed this one and loaded the other one. That doesn't work either, and nobody has been able to suggest why. And I can't find out how to contact Manuel all I can do is leave this comment.
Thank you M-Reimer for the reply. Have not tried yet but will.Developer response
posted 6 years agoThere is a support link on the Addon page.
Here it is:
https://github.com/M-Reimer/undoclosetab/issues - Rated 4 out of 5by ananda96, 6 years agoIt was that wat i was looking for, but unfortunalety i can't see it...grey on grey won't work. On a dark Skin it disappears.
Can you consider to make a version with diferent colors? white icon on dark grey ...or is there an option that i can do this by myself?
i simply use FF Dark Mode, what looks quite good.
but:
after restart of FF 65 B11 it appeared white...before it was greyish und unvisible...will rate you 5 stars.
only i don't understand this :-)))Developer response
posted 6 years agoWhich theme are you using. "Undo Close tab" supports a wide variety of themes, but some (mostly old and unmaintained) themes don't work with the new APIs.
Would be nice to know which theme you use.
To solve your problem: Try a different theme (can even be a dark one). - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14483362, 6 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by GASH, 6 years agoThis is a very good and helpful addon, but I have a problem. I can't set the amount of closed tabs to 25. No matter what I do, there are only 10 (5 in menu and 5 in kontext menu). Is there a way to fix it?

posted 6 years agoPlease have a closer look at the addon description:

You have to increase the value of the preference browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo - Rated 4 out of 5by Corky McButterpants, 7 years agoTerrific extension - have been using it for years.
But Manuel, could you please tell me why 'right-click' functionality is not available when firefox is in 'Fullscreen' mode. It's so annoying having to switch out of fullscreen » use the menu » switch back! Is it a Firefox limitation?
~thanks for the tips Manuel. Just so you're aware - the problem is up in the 'address bar' area, not the toolbar space.Developer response
posted 7 years agoI didn't notice this, so far. Maybe because I use full-screen very rarely.
I've filed this as issue and linked the upstream bug there:
https://github.com/M-Reimer/undoclosetab/issues/35
You could enable the submenu in the page context menu (Addon settings) as an alternative. Then you may just right-click anywhere in the page to get access to the recently closed tab list.
Sorry but discussing this here is a bit silly. Can you move over to the Github issue, please? Please attach a screenshot of the area you are talking about. - Rated 4 out of 5by Mirek, 7 years agoWorks great, but from some reason the icon on main bar is in white, while all others are black. It is hardly visible for me. It seems the problem is caused by Pilot experiment Firefox Color.

posted 7 years agoYou are right. In fact the whole process around "having an icon which fits nicely with the existing ones" is missing in the Mozilla API.
With Firefox 58 there is at least some API to get notified about color changes and to get the new colors. I've added a hack to version 4.2.0 which dynamically creates an icon with the new color and sets it to the toolbar button. Please try the new version. - Rated 4 out of 5by 貝克街的亡靈, 7 years ago

posted 7 years agoThere was no update. Maybe it helps to uninstall and reinstall the Addon. - Rated 4 out of 5by mm, 7 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by 流浪猫, 7 years agoI have put add-on's icon on the tab bar. Hope this add-on can add a white icon option, to cope with browser's dark theme(even the embed default theme is with the dark tab bar).
- Rated 4 out of 5by mitrich , 7 years agoGood addon that help to save time.
In future I hope to see URLs of every link in list, like URLs in statusbar when cursor is over links.
And please-please add a feature to save links list when browser was closed and opened again.
ps English is not my native language, so please be kind to my mistakes.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoIst Funktion von Firefox.
- Rated 4 out of 5by flash, 7 years agoIt's pretty good actually, The icon is clearly visible on any light or dark themes I have tested and it also uses the context menu design of the operating system.
The only downside - and also the reason why I'm uninstalling this again - is the lack of configuration options to set it up for my needs. I need to be able to open the list of recently closed tabs with the left mouse button, because in most cases I don't want to reopen the last closed tab. I'm not confident that I could learn to make an exception for this extension, when all others I use have to be operated with the left mouse button instead.
It's nice to be able to trigger two different actions depending on which mouse button is used, but with no way to configure the underlying action, this design decision goes against the grain of virtually all modern extensions. That's why I can only give four stars for an otherwise great and helpful tool. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13480041, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by theFlash2K5, 7 years agoPerforms as expected. On occasion, it seems like it opens a tab in a window that wasn't in focus, which throws me off sometimes. Otherwise, it more or less performs exactly as intended.
