Information We Collect
Usage Data
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Usage Data").
This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address), operating system, device type, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the web page you came from or are going to, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, error logs, unique device identifiers, other diagnostic data (including if you are using the UCapture Extension), and data contained in “cookies” (defined below) that may identify your device, computer, browser and UCapture account.
When you access the Service with a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Location Data
We may use and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so ("Location Data"). We use this data to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service.
You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time by way of your device settings.
Performance Data
We may also collect non-personally identifiable information about your use of the Service, and information during the online shopping experience, including information about which partner websites were visited, what promotional codes or coupons were used, how much savings was generated by a promotional code or coupon, and information about how our products are used during the shopping experience. This type of information will only be collected in an anonymized fashion such that it can not be associated with any personally identifiable information.
We also collect information which allows us to know whether you took an action based upon one of our communications. To do that we use common digital tools that allow us to see if you opened an email or visited a link we sent. This type of information may be associated with a specific User but will not contain any personally identifiable information unless you provide it to us in your response to our communication.
Cookies and Related Tools
A “cookie” is a small file sent from a web server to your browser and is stored on your computer’s hard drive when you visit certain websites. Cookies help web surfing by saving visitor preferences and other information.
UCapture reserves the right to send cookies to your computer or other device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
We also may utilize related functions including tracking pixels, tags and related tools when you visit our website or app, or when you use the Service. These tools collect data regarding your device type and ID, your browser, your operating system, IP address and other technical information. They also collect your session information and navigation history.
When you join as a Member, by creating an account, cookie information may be associated with personally identifiable information, such as user name and email address.
Advertisers we work with may set and read their own cookies and collect similar information. You may block their use of cookies by changing your browser settings, but if you do so you may be unable to obtain all User benefits (including receiving Carbon Offset Credits).
Third Party Data
UCapture’s Advertisers may make information about your transactions available to us, as well as your location and mobile device ID. From the information made available to us we may collect information about what promotional codes or coupons were used, and any savings that resulted from the use of those promotional codes or coupons. This type of information will only be collected in the aggregate (not associated with any specific User).
Compliance with Google's API Policy
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information We Do Not Collect
The UCapture Extension does not collect:
a record of the time you spend on any website, any information you provide to any website, or a record of the non-partner websites your visit;
information from your search engine history or from your email.
We do not collect information about the products or services you buy or obtain from transactions with our Advertisers, or the price you paid for such products or services.
We do not collect payment details, bank or credit card information.
