- Rated 2 out of 5by Guillaume, a year agoIl y a du progrès à faire.

posted a year agoThank you for taking the time to review our service! Autofill should work for most websites. However, if it doesn't, feel free to share the specific website/s you've encountered issues on in an update to your review, or at pass@protonme.zendesk.com. - Rated 4 out of 5by Hellingher, a year agoSimplicity, efficient, strong secured, robust, Open Source, Well-located.
After Lastpass, 1password, Bitwarden, Chrome, Firefox, Keepass... (yes...) this password manager begin to be really competitive and efficient compared to the bests. And it's my prefered for it's ethical and because independance have a price. But they done it free because of a strong economic plan based on a full desktop tools (mail calendar enterprise plan etc...)
This manager can :
Detect, copy, fill, autofill, autogenerate aliases emails (SimpleLogin) and password, detect favicons, really advanced in security.
The autofill for OTP is a popup on extension and secured clipboard not interactive on mobile.
In-Extension password editor is strong and robust on Firefox.
I really appreciate :
- the popup's extension keep in memory forms states when you are editing an entry.
- No desktop app needed
- Robust Import from a lot of sources csv and other Password manager
- Really efficient and well thinked settings
The few bugs or missing are really low and not obstructive for a new comer :
Missing : plateforme (Google,Apple,Microsoft...) authentication manager.
Raretime the autogenerated password is not copying correctly or the account is not automatically created. (I'm on OSX).
Missing options to optimise for me :
- Adding more line types like Addresses of License key or a line for remplacing password by hardware keys or linked to Google Apple Microsoft... accounts
- i hope SimpleLogin within account entry and not in another note, but it's backing up old aliases.
- Better detect forms data and save them (a few could not be registered automatically)
- Generated password could be pinned in a On-Top Extension Popup Windows before continuing, canceling or saving...
- Advanced fine-tuned option for generator like passphrase, lengh etc.. or sentence is missing. I well know that Proton Team would generate a password complying all websites.
But you become exigent when quality coding is here.Developer response
posted a year agoThank you for taking the time to review our service and for sharing your feedback with us! The option to pin items is coming to the extension. Moreover, supporting more types of items as well as deeper integration with SimpleLogin is planned for the future. In the meantime, however, we do supporting using custom fields: https://proton.me/support/pass-custom-field. We'll forward your request for supporting the option to generate passphrases to the team, so it can be taken into future consideration.

The Proton pass accounts settings still being lost after logout. Why? I do not want to setup them every time I log in. In Bitwarden they are being saved after logout.
The Mozilla account still does not working.
When you launch Proton Pass for the first time, it does not show my logins. Only the login for the opened website, which is very inconvenient. What if I want to launch another website from Proton pass?
These bugs have been reported earlier, and none of them were fixed. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16707085, a year ago

posted a year agoHi! Could you please advise us what specifically you are attempting to achieve? The extension should start working upon logging into your account.- Rated 5 out of 5by brentalanmiller, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by genemarner, a year agoSo far my experience is very mixed. When I first installed Pass, it worked well enough. However, I could not find out how to open the Pass database in order to see passwords and other data. I wrote to Support but got no reply, a recurrent problem with Proton, I find. I have been unable to get the icon into my tool bar and my efforts seem to have disabled Pass when I try to log onto my iCloud account.
