1. Introduction

Notion Pal (“we,” “our,” or “the Extension”) is a browser add-on for Chrome and Firefox that lets you copy images from Notion directly to your clipboard. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any information that could identify you or your browsing habits.



2. Information We Collect

  • No Personal Data: Notion Pal does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information (PII)—including names, email addresses, or account credentials.
  • Image Fetching: When you click “Copy Image,” the Extension fetches the image blob directly from Notion’s servers over HTTPS. That blob is written to your clipboard locally; it is never uploaded or logged on any third-party server.
  • Browser Permissions: We request only the minimal permissions needed to perform image copying:
  • clipboardWrite to place images on your clipboard
  • host_permissions for https://*.notion.so/* so we can fetch images you see in Notion



3. How We Use Information

Since we do not collect any of your data, there is no data for us to use, analyze, or monetize. All image data stays on your device and in your browser session.



4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
  • No Sharing: We never share any user data with third parties, because we do not collect any.
  • No Analytics or Tracking: There are no analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising SDKs included in Notion Pal.



5. Security
  • All communications with Notion’s servers occur over HTTPS.
  • We do not retain any logs of the images you copy.
  • The Extension’s code is open for you to inspect at any time; review it for your own peace of mind.



6. Children’s Privacy

Notion Pal is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has shared personal information through the Extension, please contact us to request its deletion.



7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect technical or legal changes. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Your continued use of Notion Pal after the update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
