great features, great design but interferes with the functionality of the EdgeTranslate extension
https://github.com/EdgeTranslate/EdgeTranslate - Rated 5 out of 5by arslan, 3 years agoQuick, useful and pretty! I only wish there were more sources, such as Oxford Dictionary, Merriam-Webster, WordNet etc.
- Rated 3 out of 5by ArkhamCookie, 3 years agoEnded up changing my old 5 star review to the 3 stars it is now. It use to work really well, but now it's rare to get more than 1 of the definitions to work. My custom one seems to work almost all the time, so if the dev allows us to have more than just one of those, I might try it out again.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Legion, 3 years agoGoogle Dict not working: "Insufficient data for a meaningful answer." ... for every single word.
Please instal proper dictionary - American comic, Wikipedia, is not an option.
And how about a thesaurus as a source? - Rated 5 out of 5by Runar, 3 years ago

I was going to ask for weblio Japanese-Japanese dictionary as an additional source, but it would be really awesome if we could define our own sources too! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17059689, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13403260, 4 years agoFast, clean, and well thought out. I have been looking for an add-on like this for a long time. Please add StartPage.com as a search source. They anonymize searches through Google, protecting the user's privacy.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Flynnn, 4 years agoSo usefull add-on! Has become part of my productivity.
Suggestion: I think a setting for max selected words would be useful, I sometimes highlight text when I'm reading an article to keep track where I am, and this thing pops up. If it would be possible to toggle from settings max number of words after which this add-on ignores the selection.
Also on my wishlist: Youtube and IMDB lookup :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Ruben, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Averi, 4 years agoSome suggestions:
1. There should be a shortcut (like Alt+Shift+D) to open the extension popup in the toolbar because some text can be unselectable.
2. There should be a tab at the top of the extension that has "Recent Words" and "Most Searched" word or something like that. Even having a "popular words of the week" would be useful (though a seldom needed thing). - Rated 5 out of 5by AM, 4 years agoA good and equally strong alternative of "double click popup dictionary feature on chrome". Google chrome is infested with advertisements, plus google chrome steals data like no other.
I read a blog about the Definer's that they are waiting for 500+ subscribers to get a recommended tag. I feel Definer deserve this.
I rarely come to review, but this developer/s efforts are worth praise. - Rated 5 out of 5by Cukmekerb, 4 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Martin_, 4 years agoGreat app with lots of potential. Will use everyday at work. So far, I'm dreming of having a quick ProZ terminology search available, as well as RAE (Spanish) and Merriam-Webster sources. Thanks for your efforts, devs!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Bhoppi, 4 years agoIt is an awesome addon! It would be better if it can add Bing Dict (https://cn.bing.com/dict/) for English<->Chinese lookups.
