Improve Crunchyroll by Thomas Tavernier
Review by jolmno
I'm a big fan. This shouldn't have to exist, but CR is a dumpster fire. I've been using this for years and I forgot I even had it until I used a different browser and got reminded just how God awful it is without the extension.
Being able to hide all the clutter is great. I don't use the skip options often because as honestly stated by the creator it isn't perfect. You can easily miss after credit scenes (works of the devil) if you rely on the skip buttons without double checking.
The addition of next episode air date has been a nice and useful surprise. I wish it was put elsewhere than the series page. The last aired episode's page and/or under the thumbnail in the watchlist would be a better place for it. If Simkl Animecountdown was integrated in that would be even better.
The only thing it's missing that is really important to me though, is the option to change subtitle font appearance and size. I hate having subtitles that don't have an outline/shadow to keep it visible in case the background color matches the subtitle color. There are probably other ways to do that, but I don't know what they are at the moment. It would be nice if the extension could do it so it's all in one place.
Anyways.... It's all around a great extension and I strongly recommend it for those who still use computers for their streaming. Crunchyroll should improve their stuff on their own, but apparently they hate money, their customers, and working. It's not something I can wrap my mind around. Piracy of anime specifically is really easy. You'd think they'd put in the dang effort to keep paying subscribers doing things the right way like myself, but they just don't.

- Rated 5 out of 5by OrG, 3 months agoExtension très utile ! Pour un malvoyant comme moi, ça m'aide. Et pour un "normal", ça ajoute des fonctionnalités qui devraient être présentes de base (double clic pour basculer en plein écran ... etc). Super travail. Le développeur est en plus assez réactif. Merci pour cette extension :)

- Rated 5 out of 5by Matthew Moreno, 9 months agoWorks great and adds some much needed quality of life functionality. Know how there is a 'next episode' button to the right of the pause button? It would be nice if this added a 'previous episode' button too!

Crunchyroll so: Wir hassen unsere Mitglieder und bauen unnützes Zeug ein und Thomas so: Hold my Beer.
Dieses entsetzliche, unnütze dim screen ist nun endlich weg.
Vielen Dank :) - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17832657, a year ago

1. this does not auto-skip
2. the "skip " pop ups that happen repeatedly during fullscreen playing videos is highly irritating.
Can you please fix those pop ups during playing videos? I don't care to see a skip button in the middle of a show. Makes no sense. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18143891, a year ago

I like taking screenshots or taking a short break, but every time I do that the seek bar is shown, which ruins my immersion. Thank you for making this!
The subtitles can also be toggled with the C key. And the left arrow can rewind 5 seconds. - Rated 5 out of 5by trab, 2 years agoHas always worked as intended until the very latest 4.3.1 update. Reverting to 4.3.0 and disabling updates fixed it.

It would it be very cool to include syncing with MyAnimeList or better LiveChart.me (but sadly I believe there is no api) - Rated 5 out of 5by Marco Bassetto, 3 years ago
