- Rated 1 out of 5by Mahmoud Elmasry, 5 months agoIt's a deceptive extension that changes the link you use to purchase items to a link referred by them so that they would make money off of you, and if you were referred by someone (for example by using the link of a youtuber you like when purchasing an item) they remove their referral and add theirs instead, literally stealing the money from the youtuber.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Xenroth, 5 months agoDo not use this addin, it steals all affiliate links by redirecting them to paypal instead of the original affiliate and even doesnt find you the best coupons but only the one the store they are partnering with approved to them. So its not even good for that ... just use the common websites finding coupons and you are better off
- Rated 1 out of 5by Rockett, 5 months agoSince installing it I have seen a grand total of 0 discounts. After doing some research it seems Honey override affiliate links off everyone else screwing over content creators you click links on to buy things (if you do that).
Honey seems worthless and makes money off of your purchases despite doing nothing. They need to actually partner with sites and offer actual discounts or go out of business. You can find better coupon codes for websites you buy from manually, skip this add-on. - Rated 1 out of 5by Henri, 5 months agoHoney takes credit of the sale at checkout from an affiliate link (even without providing value) as long as the user interacts with their pop ups. This even happens when closing a notification where they identify no coupons.
Honey claims to provide the best coupon deals to users without users having to search for discounts manually. Counter to its value proposition, the extension allows their business partners to set the coupons that appear through honey. This may mislead the user into believing they've purchased an item with the best discount when in reality, they were disincentivized from finding the best discount themselves. - Rated 1 out of 5by Sarath, 5 months ago

I've always thought the extension was doing something nefarious, like harvesting all of your browser data, so i've kept it disabled 99.999% of the time. But it seems their business practices are much worst. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18743946, 5 months ago
