by anarchofox, a year agoSorry, but why is this a recommended add-on by Firefox when the source code isn't available? Your privacy policy is meaningless. Your addon requires heft permissions and we can't see - for sure, not going by your word - what it does with them. This is not the sort of thing Mozilla should be recommending. If this is a "free" add-on, but not open-source, then users should suspect they are the product being sold, not the software.
Please provide source code. I would love to revise this review.

posted a year agoMozilla Add-on Store admins review each and every version of recommended extensions manually to ensure that they are 100 % safe by reviewing the source code that we submit.
Quote from Mozilla Recommended extensions page: "These chosen extensions undergo intense scrutiny in the form of manual security reviews. They're examined from every angle to ensure they meet our strict policies, leaving no room for compromise."
Since Feedbro is also available on Google and Edge add-on stores, their admins have reviewed the extension as well ensuring that it's completely safe. As stated, we do not gather any data about users or send anything to servers on the internet.
If you don't have faith in Mozilla Add-on Store reviewers, fine, but please don't spread FUD or make demands.

- Rated 3 out of 5by McNamara, 2 months agoI wanted to get the feed article in full through your help file so that I could read the articles offline.
When only online, it just shows the web page.
After going offline, it searches the content by trying to connect again
Please let me know if you could improve it further. And provides the content offline
Then I don't have to search one which provides such feature

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14020785, 2 months agoThis has been the perfect feed reader for my needs, lots of functionality, except: I miss a way to move my starred articles over to a new browser installation. Is there a way to do this? Some of these articles are a couple of years old.

It would be sensational if the template changed automatically at sunset from light to dark. - Rated 5 out of 5by 远离中共邪教快退出党团队, 2 months ago

Can't make it work in private windows in spite of setting it to do so.
Couldn't find a way to give feedback to Nodetics - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13272506, 3 months agoSo far the best RSS add-on, but it definitely needs an undelete / recycle-bin option!
Edit 2025.03.16: Lately it keeps losing all messages (read/unread) messages after browser restart. Peeping for alternatives... - Rated 5 out of 5by corujo, 3 months agoDoes everything it says on the tin, it's simple and lightweight.
just needs an option to limit/block notifications on startup
