by carpocrates, 2 years agoI hate to rate this addon with 1 star. I've been using it for years, with the PRO version. Everything worked fine. Since October 2024 it stopped working, Dishita told that a fix would be released but it is still broke. No download button, no way to get anything.

Seems like all other higher MP4 formats have been removed which is a shame as I prefer downloading MP4 files with a higher bitrate without needing to be online or having an online presence for YouTube. Still my favourite video downloader extension though. Hope other formats will make a return shortly.

- Rated 1 out of 5by fst100, 9 days agothis add-on use to work a couple years ago but YT kept up and surpassed not letting programs download from their site. i would give this add-on 5 stars back then but since they cannot keep up with YT and still have this exist just for the clicks, i believe a one-star is deserving.

- Rated 1 out of 5by John B., 12 days agoI have never ever been able to get this extension to work. I can't pin it to my toolbar, and it doesn't show up on any Youtube page. Support seems to be lacking. I would gladly pay to upgrade but I have to be able to test it first, and it just doesn't work.
