- Rated 4 out of 5by Estecka, 7 years agoDark Reader was already my favorite dark theme on Chrome.
Though the firefox version is a little more buggy, It's still superior to the other I've found. - Rated 5 out of 5by Alireza A. A., 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13850603, 7 years agoI think this extension is beautiful!! Ever since we lost all of the complete themes ( Dark Fox, V2, Red Shift, etc.), from Firefox, I have been seriously missing the dark background themes I liked soooo much!
This takes it all back, and even goes one better, I think.....Very Nice work!
Thank You!!! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13842395, 7 years agoBrilliant!! Wonderful!
Just what I wanted / needed. What else can I say. The optional light vs dark themes and built in adjustments really are just what you need.
The night shift thanks you! - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13598109, 7 years agoI loved this extension on chrome and used to use it all the time. However, on Firefox, this thing absolutely shreds my CPU. When loading a new page or toggling the dark-mode on, it will spike to ~80% CPU usage for several seconds, and cause my entire browser to hang (note that this is on a 5th gen i7). I don't care for extensions that abuse my CPU power. This extension never used to be like this, but I've had to stop using it.

posted 7 years agoOne of the reasons is that Firefox could use built-in video card instead of discrete. Anyway, more productive but less smart looking approach was released (More -> Static Theme). It will be improved in future, but you can try it now.
Update: Try new Dynamic Theme mode. - Rated 5 out of 5by Cesky, 7 years agoI used this extension in chrome at work and loved it. Seems much more reliable than other dark theme extensions - has built-in custom profiles and easy hotkeys to turn it on/off, with white/blacklisting to boot. Now that it's available for FF I'm happier than ever with my browsing experience.

I saw this on Chrome and then found this here for Firefox. I work with students who have disabilities. This helps tremendously! - Rated 5 out of 5by mYookus, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13252678, 7 years agoI've used this in Chrome. It's an AMAZING, INTUITIVE APP.
However, it's currently breaking Twitter's enlarged images. Please fix it! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13035345, 7 years agoVery good. The youtube homepage is not working correctly but it's too good! Thanks for the extension!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13804377, 7 years agoAmazing extension. Only a few sites I use for work have issues. Solves most of the formatting issues I've encountered using other options in the past.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Nigel, 7 years agoI like that it can also change the font, so it's not just for dark mode. Wish there's option to change the font face to some specific fonts instead of San Serif, Serif, etc as I read web pages in both English and Chinese which require different sets of fonts.
