1. What Betsurf Does

Betsurf helps users compare sports betting odds across several Swedish sportsbooks by injecting a UI into supported websites. It does this by extracting basic match information (teams, start time, bookmaker) and sending it to an external API to retrieve current odds from other platforms.

1. What Data Is Collected

Betsurf does not collect or store any personal, financial, or sensitive user information.

By default, Betsurf generates and stores an anonymous UUID (random unique identifier) locally. This UUID is sent with API requests to anonymously track feature usage and performance. It does not contain or infer your identity, browser history, IP address, or personal data.

1. User Control

You can disable the use of the anonymous UUID at any time in the extension’s settings. When disabled, no identifier will be sent with requests, and no local UUID will be generated or stored.

1. Local Storage

Betsurf uses browser storage (chrome.storage.local) to store:

Your preferred theme (dark/light)

Popup position

List of enabled or custom websites

Anonymous UUID (if enabled)


All of this data is stored only in your browser and is not synced or shared.

1. No Third-Party Analytics or Ads

Betsurf does not include third-party analytics, tracking libraries, or advertisements. All functionality is limited to the odds comparison features described.

1. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, users will be notified via the extension’s changelog or release notes.
