Privacy Notice for 8x8 Extension

8×8, Inc. (“8×8”) respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Notice describes what personal information 8×8 processes for the 8x8 Extension and why.  

What does the 8x8 Extension Do?
The 8x8 Extension allows users to click to call or SMS telephone numbers from the user’s Firefox browser. The call or SMS is placed over the user’s 8x8 Work Desktop application or 8x8 Work Web (as specified by the user).

What personal data does the 8x8 Extension process?
The only personal data the 8x8 Extension processes is the telephone number that the user clicks from the Firefox browser to initiate a call or SMS. This number is sent to 8x8 Work Desktop or 8x8 Work Web for 8x8 to complete the call or SMS.

Personal data processed by 8x8 Work Desktop or 8x8 Work Web is governed by the 8x8 Privacy Notice (where 8x8 is the controller of personal data) or the data protection terms in our agreement with our customer (where 8x8 is a processor for our customer for the personal data).
