T-Mobile Account Overview Extension

This Chrome Extension is an open-source tool designed to help T-Mobile users view and organize their account data in a readable format. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by T-Mobile US, Inc.

🔒 What Data We Collect

This extension collects minimal, anonymous analytics strictly for debugging and improving user experience. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal T-Mobile account data.

The following events may be anonymously logged via our analytics proxy:

• Extension installed or updated
• Successful capture of account data (no content collected)
• User chose to share or decline optional SOC code submission
• Internal extension errors (e.g., parsing failure, network issues)

📊 What Information Is Included in Logs

Each log entry includes only:

• Anonymous extension ID (provided by Chrome)
• Timestamp
• Extension version
• Event type or error identifier

These logs do not include any account information, credentials, cookies, or personal identifiers.

💡 Why This Data Is Collected

We collect this minimal information to:

• Understand extension usage (e.g., feature popularity, installs/updates)
• Identify errors or breakages after T-Mobile site changes
• Improve reliability and usability for everyone

No data is shared with third parties, ever.

🙅 Opt-Out Policy

Given the extremely limited and anonymous nature of data collected, and since no personal or account data is transmitted, we do not currently offer an opt-out. All data collection is passive, non-invasive, and solely used for product improvement.

Failsafes and error handling are built in to prevent misuse or unintended access.

🎨 Branding and Trademarks

The extension is not affiliated with T-Mobile, nor does it claim to be. The use of “T-Mobile” in the extension name is for identification purposes only. Any design resembling T-Mobile branding (such as a DALL·E-generated cartoon-style T icon) is used in a parodic or transformative context and does not imply endorsement.
