- Rated 4 out of 5by Gloi, 3 months agoCan you add hiding/censor of the email when the vault is locked for the current user?
Other than that the extension is great. - Rated 1 out of 5by BDanielBell, 3 months agoUsed to be the best, now they've made horrible style changes and features are starting to break and slow down. They pull useful features while adding useless ones, and the software just doesn't work like it used to. The company doesn't respond to complaints or requests anymore. Support is non-existent. This product is rapidly heading for self-destruction, and I no longer trust it.

posted 3 months agoHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Rated 2 out of 5by Jeffrey Arts, 3 months agoThe new version is a true downgrade. The UI is less intuitive, but more importantly. An essential feature named "sync" is being removed. Which means that I can't use accounts that have any (recent) changed passwords. Restarting the browser won't force a resync neither...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16652063, 3 months agoThe new UI and the subsequent response to the feedback has ruined the experience for me, and I'm looking for a new password manager.
I use the shortcut 80% of the time to fill credentials, but use the menu for sites where I have multiple logins. The redesign has made this a multi-click process, all done in a UI that has wasted space. I don't trust any organization that thought this was acceptable. They are refusing to roll back the changes or add a toggle for the old UI. Instead, they are restoring piecemeal individual features that enough people have complained about missing. It's not completely useless, but I think two stars is too generous. I'm getting out before the next ridiculous UI overhaul.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by Diddy Kong, 3 months agoBitwarden has been really good, but they are causing major friction with the latest release. It used to be fast to open vault in the browser, but now it takes a second or two and I constantly have to retype or wait, and it's so annoying.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Dollique, 3 months agoEDIT -> all fixed!
The new UI is beautiful and everything that was annyonig at first is now possible to change in the Settings! Thanks for the Devs for working on this.
You can re-enable it in the settings -> appearance -> show quick copy actions
I was confused that I needed to favorite my Identity to have it on top. Now, that I now this, it's actually better!
EDIT 2: Got a developer response, that Autofill when clicking on items is now possible. Thanks! Nearly fixed everything :DDeveloper response

I switched from Dashlane. I like the ability to use a self-hosted server.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Bradley Herbst, 3 months agoChanged the functionally. Trying to get you to click in the password box instead of the top menu, very annoying.

No more simple login, and no explanation of the new UI. Terrible.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18781818, 3 months agoNew UI is beyond *horrible*. So many useful features from the previous design are missing. UI is difficult to navigate. Large number of saved credentials are not possible to neatly organize. I'm installing an older version for the cleaner, easier to use UI. If this new UI is permanent I'll be switching to a different password manager.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Symes Garay, 3 months agoUsed to be great, but new UX is clearly a move away from plain password manager towards unneeded usecases for non-existent audience.
Edit: Thanks but no thanks to half-baked solutions. Version 2024.11.2 works as great as ever. What's missing is the "Tab" tab. Clear information "no logins for the current browser tab" is priceless.Developer response

Hate the new UX. Clicking the link now edits a password instead of filling password credentials. Now you have to click the small "Fill" button.
Please change back the UX.
Edit: Options below fixed the issue.
Thanks! :-DDeveloper response

It works really well, but the new Visual update hides things in menues, noonne acually likes menu's designers, please just put the most common used buttons ontop. like i dont want to click to though a copy menu that literally only has two entry's when you should have just had two buttons.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by xsilas43, 3 months agoThis new UX update is unusable and those responsible should be fired.
The main feature of this is to fill passwords, now its a tiny little button.Developer response

More clicks to do what I need (copy a username / password, filling a form, i.e. the primary goal of the application). Too bad
- Rated 2 out of 5by Maksim, 3 months agoBitwarder is really great password manager, and I have been used it for many years.
But with the latest update side panel becomes too wide and it's almost unusable, when you keep it open, as almost 1\3 of new UI is hidden. I don't want to sacrifice so much of my browsing pages, to be able to use it (specially on laptop).
If devs aren't change theirs mind, I would be forced to find an alternative massword manager, as it becomes irritating to use Bitwarden :( - Rated 5 out of 5by ASJ79, 3 months ago
