I've really enjoyed AdBlocker Ultimate. It does a wonderful job of blocking the adds, trackers, and popups that I don't want. I read a lot of articles and websites for graduate school, and I get a much nicer webpage to read through without tons of ads. Also, love (except when it is scary high) watching the amount of online trackers being blocked.

I wouldn't have paid for premium if I didn't like it. They do a better job at updating their filters than other ad blockers, but remember I have premium and use the desktop app too so the experience may be slightly different for free users with just the browser extension. Their desktop app is better than the others I've tried as well. If you hate ads to the extent that you'd pay for service to never see an ad again like me then I recommend these guys.

I've only been using this ad blocker for a couple years, but it has been great. It's features are easy to use, and it's selection feature works great. I would definitely recommend this ad blocker.
