Reviews for Adblock Plus – Add-ons for Firefox Android (en-US)

I recommend everyone to avoid this add-on or remove it if you have installed it. Was great for the 2 or so years that I had it, until my browser was hijacked. Removed Adblock Plus and the hijacker disappeared. There's definitely some shady business going on with this add-on.

hmmm. That sounds quite odd. I assure you , we are not in the hijacking business at all. In fact we are on the exact opposite side of that business. Doesn't work as well as it use to... Works on ads for the most part (on YouTube even, that's impressive) but I still get popups from a few pages I visit. Fix that, I'll change rating to 5.

Doesn't block everything anymore and some sites are so filled with new tab popups that they are unusable

ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTINGLY TERRIBLE

with all the big techs gathering our private data and in the pockets of politicians, its a "NO BRAINER" to use the trusted Fire Fox and Adblock as our only way to disrupt this infringement on our democracy.

YouTube detects them now and stops you from watching a video if you have it enabled.
